My piece of advice to my younger self is: You are worth it.

It's not about you have lost, but what you have left.

I like #5 and 8,9,10. 7 I need to contemplate. The rest I disagree with in whole or in part and find them negative and unaffirming (for myself anyway).

😊 Thanks for mulling these over. That's what they're there for (at least, from my vantage point). To get us reflecting, not to get us to agree. I'm wondering what piece(s) of wisdom you would offer your older or younger self . . .

Beauty takes many forms and is present in all seasons, let go of old ideals. You ARE Special to all of those that hold you dear, NEVER doubt how much you mean to them. Perform all you like, the joy is for yourself. You may not get what you want, but you get what you need - embrace it. Everything you feel is valid, don't try to edit it, let it flow. If you don't think you are measuring up, change the ruler. You've got this.

Wow. So much wisdom packed into this short paragraph. It just rolled out of you, didn't it?

Yes I guess it did. Thanks for asking the question that prompted me to reply. Obviously I had some strong reactions to what was in his list!

Oh, so many lessons learned…it would take up a lot of space, lol

Most important: Know you are enough & don’t worry so much & be a kind person

I have no advice for my younger self. I probably wouldn’t have listened anyway. 😁

I like 8! Also 9, 10. I’m not sure I know what 7 means. My advice: Be who You Are! And Lighten up.

My impression of "7" is that "pay attention" means we have to invest something of ourselves. PAY.

When you choose to be vulnerable you may fall. Be sure to surround yourselves with friends that will pick you up.

Indeed. Falling is inevitable. Yes? It's all in the landing, maybe . . .

My advice to my older self is...You're never too old to learn and the quickest way to get where you want to be is to first "be still."
