I LOVE to listen. You can talk with me for hours, and I'll listen - actively.

A gift much needed in this world. May it be magnified.

Einstein Begonias. A peculiar variety created by Einstein. They devour sunlight and water. Grow indoors. Mine have reached 10 feet. And they are prolific and grow easily from cuttings. I've cut and given gifts to a dozen people so far. Beautiful heart-shaped petals!

Prayer. It’s funny and beautiful how someone reacts when you tell them you are praying for them. A bond of another reality forms and both feel closer to one another.

I like how you describe this. May your prayerfulness be magnified in this hurting world.

When someone tells me something that they are struggling with, I try to listen and not use a lot of words in the moment. It usually percolates within in me though and I make a point to follow up with a note or some gesture that symbolizes acknowledgment and maybe a little hope.

So beautiful, both the listening and the following up. May your kindness be magnified.

A smile - freely shared with loved ones, strangers, babies, animals and plants. This is a reflection of what they freely share with me…

Twenty-five years ago heartbreak sent me in search of myself and I found the gift of "Gratitude," beginning with keeping a Gratitude journal. Ten years ago, I began researching what it means to live grateful and began sharing Gratitude text messages with a handful of family members. Six years ago I was tested when my daughter suffered a massive stroke. Gratitude put her on the road to recovery, guided me as a caregiver, and two years later we self- published a book of our yearlong journey. Gratitude is the gift that keeps on giving, sort of like love!😉

Gratitude and love sort of disappear into each other, don't they? Powerful, how you let heartbreak become such a teacher, and now you are spreading what you've learned. YOU are a gift that keeps on giving, too!

Indeed they do! Thanks Phyllis!
