Stepping out of my comfort zone , The Universe, paved the way & wonders followed. Grateful I was able not to let fear stop me, although sometimes I do 😉
One of the harvest parts of being a gardener is watching a bud become a bloom. It is a very very slow process. It takes trust and patience to witness. This means my garden is my teacher. I am glad.
Hi Phyllis,

Marvelous poem and it says so much about how growth often happens, biologically and psychologically. Thanks...j

Life is a negotiation between love and fear?
I’d add courage into the mix….between love/courage and fear?
Yes. It’s impossible to love without some amount of courage.
Wow!!! Thanks, dear Phyllis! Given the proper causes and conditions, blossoming is inevitable.
Perhaps, because of resilience, we can blossom even when causes and conditions aren’t optimal . . .
I want to be a sunflower who takes the risk!

Indeed, your garden is your teacher. Trust and be patient with your own unfolding, Sunflower.
Yes!
Burst forth and blossom!
Beautiful pairing of photo and poem! Thanks
This really touched me in a deep place. Regardless of age or circumstance, blossoming is a gift!
And it never ends, unless we force it to end. Even death is a blossoming.
