Think of others.

Sounds like a good starting place.

We are not free until all are free.

When you’re ready,

take another step, even just one.

Feed the children before school.

Offer them a backpack.

Join Veterans for Peace.

Hold a sign. Join a March.

Buy a gift from Ocean Conservancy.

Save a turtle.

Serve lunch at the homeless shelter.

Say how are you and really hear the answer.

Share a story, yours or someone else’s.

Write a poem or sing a song.

Be a candle in the dark,

wherever you happen to be.

We are not free until all are free.

Amen, sister. Little things are big things if we invest ourselves in them.
