I have been following Andrea since

my discovery of Substack.

There is a depth to their poetry that can

only come from their unique and personal journey.

Upon reading anything that Andrea writes,

I am brought to silence and awe.

Wow! Go Andrea. That’s a poem that asks to be listened to again and again.

And in some weird way, I’m glad you couldn’t find the written poem because it keeps me listening to Andrea reading it, which just makes it that much more genuine and real and beautiful!

Thanks, Phyllis.

Isn’t it powerful, Kate? And a powerful reminder that, in its origins, poetry was SPOKEN (or SUNG)!

Sometimes a poem arrives just when you need it. Thank you for being the wings that got it to me.
