Wow. Great memories and stories in that gem! I had the thought that MOST people don't want to leave their homes, their homeland. Sometimes becoming an immigrant is not really what anyone wants in the first place. Necessity drives so much human movement. Do we meet those people with compassion or with scorn? The choice is mine; the choice is yours.
