If you use words—in any form—to add kindness to this world and sometimes despair of your efforts, today’s post is especially for you.
(Yes, I’m looking at you.)
WHY BOTHER? Sean Thomas Dougherty Because right now, there is someone out there with a wound in the exact shape of your words. (from The Second O of Sorrow)

THURSDAY: Poetry Pick-Me-Up (Zoom, 12:00-1:00PM Central, at this link)
Yesterday I came across a Pema Chodron quote that said no matter how much pain and chaos we see in the world, we always have the option to see that we are NEEDED. Needed to show up with caring, healing, compassion, and simple presence.
May our words continue to connect us in the spirit of love and not hate! May they mend our brokenness and uplift our spirits! Thanks Phyllis for doing your part!
