Thank you Phyllis for Blessing Offor's beautiful song.

A help to accompanying my brother Greg and his best beloved Celie who broke her hip, had it repaired and was beginning to walk again. But then her wound became infected and the whole operation had to be redone. Now she is not doing well and the wound not healing. She feels too sick to eat or drink. She has dementia and is feeling so miserable. All we can do is send loving kindness, hoping that she find some equanimity and that her eighty year old body may find its strength again.

Thank you again for your gift to us.

Mark

We walk beneath the same sky. May the sun shine brightly for Celie and Greg and all who love them. Including you, Mark. Bless you.

This gave me pause this morning, as sharing the weather is on my mind. Here in central Texas we finally got rain last night after several months of unbroken drought (and after yet another triple digit day)—but it came with hail ranging from quarter-sized to window-breaking-golf-ball-sized. We are safe and sound in my neighborhood, with less fortunate friends a few miles up the road. We are grateful for water from the skies, but so aware that we are all sharing the same cloud, quite literally.

Soothing refrain…may we all be safe and sound.

Our poor planet! Bless all of you in Central TX (and elsewhere) who are dealing with extreme weather events.
