I do not have to look any further for the right poem to send to my old friends. Here it is --thank you phyllis. This weekend my daughter got married in a glorious ceremony-- one that was --at one time --considered illegal or hidden. Two women in love sharing their vows in front of their community. My long time friends--feminist activists, lovers of life, met the two brides and their younger friends. Over 150 people danced their hearts out, cried tears of deep appreciation. An intergenerational love affairs. The brides’ friends are evolving into someday old friends. M
