Took me to: “You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
Late afternoon here, as I balance laptop & ginger tabby to say thank you for posting this poem, Phyllis. I plan to read it at the Poetry Group's May meeting. It has a wonderful tone that allows you to sit within it and realize, without any sort of fanfare or verbal gymnastics so much that is ours in each moment.

Wonder-full WEdnesday ☀️
A WONDERFUL-FULL Wednesday to you, too, Mish!
When you read truth you know it in your soul.
Yes, sir.
Love this and it is a beautiful reminder for everyone to start their day!
We all need such reminders!
Beautiful mindfulness poem. ❤️ And how cool that it came via your dear friend Don Mayhew who lives each day so fully and intentionally.
I suspect that's why Don shared it with me—it resonated with him. What's a poem that's resonating with you right now?
Carpe Diem!
Day seized! (Or at last "met"!)

Hennen is a no-fanfare poet whose work really speaks to me. And I smile to think of you reading it while balancing laptop & ginger tabby!
