So evocative of these times, the incomprehensible violence that destroys lives and haunts our dreams.

In this time of worldwide chaos I think most of us are in a frequent state of “unease”….I know I am.

When I hear a low-flying airplane it gives me pause now. It didn’t in the past.

Bless you, Mish. When that "pause" is given, I know you will be present there with transmuting power.

Dear Phyllis, So moved by this poem. Echo all the sentiments expressed by others here. A wise person once said that we are living in a trance and need to awaken. That is how I feel when I see news from the ground and look around and see how we go about our own lives here, so detached, so unreal. How did we get here. Thank you, dear Phyllis.

WE WILL WAKE UP, PETER. Today, a little more!

Beautiful on both counts! Thank you so much for sharing it. I am still learning about your many talents. I did not know you were a musician...just that you loved music.

I attended a jazz concert last night and went to bed with music on my mind. To wake up and listen to your "Child of the Earth" is yet another reminder of the power of music to change our feelings. Thank you dear Creative! Keep pouring your heart out to us! ❤️

Crank up that music, Myrtle! Whom did you hear in concert?

The storm rattled our windows here also, but it was nothing compared to fear and suffering on the other wide of the world; your poem is so relatable. Your piano music is lovely. You are talented and make great art that heals the world.

Both so beautiful. When I started to read your comments I was reminded of the first jet I heard fly over Minneapolis after the 911 airport shutdowns. A couple of years later I lived in Fargo and the church I worked at was right in the flight path of the fighter jets from the air base. This was during the gulf war and they often startled me. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, my . . . yes . . . I can't imagine living in a fighter-jet flight path.
