Oh Phyllis, this turned out so wonderfully! What a glorious dive and this helps bring it all together. So o ften I forget bits of gatherings, but this distills it and forms a community of us for Waging Peace. It feels like it will go forward. Judyth and her poem were the perfect fulcrum. I'll admit that I cried a little as I read the combined poem you crafted. You did a great job! Thank you so much. More and more I feel that I am part of a community here on this earth and on this raft!
Oh, dear heart, this is a beautiful response to the poem and the experiences it grew out of! Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you were a participant. I felt so "gifted" by you all as I helped the community poem emerge.
All I can say is a big wow! Thank you for compiling words from the creative minds of so many—words I will definitely read, reread, and reread. and breathe in and out again and again. And again and again. ❤️🙏❤️
What a treasure! Peace embodied in a community poem of creative minds. Thank you Judyth Hill and Phyllis for bringing us all together. Your words/our words can make a difference.
Wow. This was such a wonderful, powerful way to wrap up the month of Waging Peace. I agree that it feels like strong community and common ground and it can go on. I got a bit teared up as I read this group effort, planted with love by Judyth and cultivated with such care by Phyllis. Just wow.
So beautiful to read this lovely act of community! My favorite section was "remember your tools." I am particularly fond of "the awesome wonder of clouds," and " the dinosaur yoga mat where we teach our children to be in their bodies, in their joy..."
Thanks Phyllis!--probably another time--I totally plan to check out more of your offerings! And then I'll be in things more organically! I hope to try the Creatives Coffee Hour next week. Looking forward to more!
A community poem! great idea.
The poem grew out of a wonderful event with a mystery guest—so much fun, with a lot of meaning!
So beautiful 🙏
The yin & the yang of life….the light & the dark
Timely for me…needed to hear this today
Thank you all 🙏
Perhaps you could add lines of your own?
📚 Breathe in book banners
Breathe out freedom of expression
Love it!
Excellent❣️
“...breathe out puppies.” ❤️❤️❤️
I loved that line too, among many others! Thanks for contributing, Nancy!

I'm glad the poem speaks to you, Gayla. Care to add some lines of your own?
Breathe in traumas, mental illnesses, addictions, homelessness,
Breathe out healing hearts, recovery, peace and understanding
Tools: Servanthood, encouragement, support, blessings of blankets, socks and prayers ❤️🙏❤️
Thank you for these lines—themselves "socks and prayers."

YES, WORDS CAN AND DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Thank you so much, dear Phyllis! So touched!. Moved.
I had the gentlest of roles in the poem's creation. So many spirits involved—now, including you all who read!

Plug in wherever it feeds your joy. ❤️
Breathe in the terror and confusion of those in war torn areas.
Breath out loving, kind and peaceful thoughts.
