Thank you for this thoughtful personal piece. I hope all- cars, family and Nathan's things- were barely touched by this bump. Yours is a lesson I've taken to heart! ❤️
I’m sorry you had another mishap, hoping there was no damage. Big sky thinking ( I’ve participated in it in the workplace years ago) but did not have this name for it. Inspiring message. Thank you!
No damage, thankfully. I actually hit Nathan's bicycle, which was mounted on the rear of his car, and that was okay too. It was a flukey accident, so I wasn't going fast when I hit him. But oh, did I laugh!
Thanks for sharing this story, Phyllis. Glad to hear everyone was okay and appreciate each day is an opportunity to practice. :) Love 'big sky mind' too!
Thank you for sharing this with us, Phyllis. It so speaks to my heart. ❤️🙏
And this: “They’re chances to practice.” So true, so true.
You're welcome, as always, Mish!

All is well!
Your story reminds me that it is always good to put things in proper perspective - it is our perception of what happens to us that really matters!
Indeed! Reframe, reframe, reframe!
Big Sky Mind....new concept to me yet always a deep part of my being. Thanx for sharing.
Oh you LIVE Big Sky Mind, my friend!
I appreciate your personal sharing and the rich “living” lessons. You help me see how wise perspectives make us better at being human. 🙏🏻
We're always beginning again at this "being human" thing!
