wow, dear Phyllis! what a treat this late night/early morning to catch more of a sense of YOUR very own voice - at play, the SPIRIT that put together that amazing anthology Poetry of Presence. no wonder! YOU re a wonder, it's clear. And we all. As i used to love telling my students in high school English class: there is a poet in each of us. just waiting for you to realize the particular truth of that - for your very own voice. Thank you for pulling back the curtain on this word-affirming practice of yours. I will read it again tomorrow. Feeling so blest by the TRUTH that words can carry - via the page - PRESENCE from one heart to the next. Grace abides. Sending gratitude your way for your anthology much loved by me - and so many others. Thank you for further illuminating the Practice of Presence, Emily
I love your Rays of Light. For years I sent people short notes to let them know that they have been a sign of hope for me. It was great fun and people were often surprised, but always felt affirmed. I do so less frequently now, but perhaps should begin the practice again.
Oh Phyllis, I loved these rays of light intensely! They really seem to me to be a shower of light right when I need it. Indeed, there are 'ten thousand joys and ten thousand sorrows' in my life and the gift of poetry that you have shared with me over the years is deeply appreciated! With warmth and loving joy at this season of light!
Oh, I'm so happy to hear that this "shower of light" fell on you when needed! Thank you for your dear presence in my community. May you be well, in every way.

Thank you for this! And I have found how we can talk to each other again! Yay on all counts!
Happy, happy dance!
These are so beautifully simple and profound! I am inspired, thank you.
That's one of my favorite things to hear—EVER—from a reader: "I'm inspired." Follow the nudge, Jeanette!
