Dear Phyllis, Please accept my deep sympathy for your loss. Your mother sounds like she was an extraordinary human being, someone filled with love for others, which she wisely passed on to you. May she be at peace and may you find comfort in knowing that in the days to come.

In sympathy, Jerome

So glad you could be with her. May her passing leave a blessing for you and your family. You are now the elder and the “ mom”.

Oh, you speak truth, my friend. I hadn't considered my new "eldership." 😉 I want to thank you for little insights into visual arts and supplies that I passed to Mom over the time I've known you.

Dear Phyllis, sending you my deepest condolences. What a beautiful tribute to your mother, Mama Cole. Such a blessing that you could be with her. The song, "World, O World," is extraordinary, as is its timing on The Daily Boost. Wow. Sending love and prayers to you and yours.

My sympathy for you and the rest of your family’s loss. No matter how prepared we may think we are for our parents to pass, it is still hard when they are gone. May you find peace in knowing you blessed her through her journey and that she will always be with you in your heart and spirit

Phyllis - I'm reaching out to you and your family in Christian sympathy at the homegoing of your Mother. The words you used to describe her passing were beautiful! I pray they will continue to minister to you and yours in the near and distant future. Weeping may endure for a night, BUT joy comes in the morning.

Hi Phyllis,

So glad to hear this.

There is strength to be found in rest, and yet we resist it.

One of those strange cyclical things.

Love,

Casey

What a blessing of a good bye you offered your mother. What a blessing you were to one another - to be held like that in her passing - it makes me think of a line from a poem about autumn and the turning leaves - I cant recall the author but the words are "To whom shall I be so beautiful as I fall?" and you have have made those words come alive. And that you took the time to share this with us all in the midst of so much - so much. In the coming days as you walk this journey may you know you are held and loved by many many people.
