I create and maintain nature trails that weave through public landscapes allowing people to connect to nature...and reinforce/urge outdoor explorations by sharing photos and information about nature via Facebook posts to encourage people to enjoy and engage with nature's wonders and all its interconnections--an intricately woven web indeed.
Small simple ways that have come to be an automatic response with everyone …sharing my smile…initiating a chat…sharing origami peace doves with a blessing inside, showing appreciation for them, giving away what I crochet , sharing books & telling them to pas them on……there are truly so many opportunities to share kindness every single day…whether in person or online (sending daily uplifting graphics in emails to friends, etc.).
Finding the KINDSPRING website & becoming a member, finding the Service Space community (of which KindSpring is a part) sparked my kindness & I credit my automatic kindness response to both. Grateful 🙏❤️
I notice similar interests or ideas that people express and connect people to each other - esp. when they don’t know each other. Also, I INVITE people and ask them to help and provide their gifts
I launched and maintain a website for my sangha and I design graphics and write features for a newsletter that promotes the activities of our meditation groups. I am not sure if the gift is for them or for me. The Buddha said that in the paramita or perfection of generosity that the giver, the receiver and the gift become one. That has been my experience
Beautiful said, Donna. It reminds me that the Indo-European root of the words "host" and "guest" are the same. The meanings merge so as to be inseparable (like the experiences themselves). Bless you in your good work. Deep bows.

Thank you for your weaving all these many strands, Wayne—so important for us and this planet!
By being kind ❤️
Care to share specific ways in which your kindness manifests?

You took those sparks and obviously developed them into a practice. Thanks for sharing some specifics, which might serve as sparks for others!

Beautiful, Lina. That sort of inviting and networking can be GLUE in community!
Listening
Listening is good medicine!
By being present. Cultivating awareness and sharing with others. Being awake, in order to bring a little peace to our community.
Practicing presence! Yes! Bless you!
Listening.
Often people just need to feel heard
Isn't that the truth? Thank you for your wise listening.
Sending Metta
Thus you have blessed me!
