All I know is my life feels sweet when I can share kindness, encouragement, love & light in my daily living. I know I can do more, but am pretty pleased with my everyday small acts of kindness.
I must define senses differently than Annie does because I feel good days lived in sensation do not need more and more or devolve to greed, they are their own fullness. Feeling a day with gratitude, groundedness and wonder, that is enough. Time now, I don't think I'll ever feel there's enough time but being aware and grateful for all of the small beauties in every day is a good day lived, ans it IS enough.
I'm not there yet. I look forward to all the good I can do and experience each day and most days end with contentment. But I still feel like I need more time to do more.

We always "do more"—if only through the rippling out of those small acts of kindness . . .

I appreciate how you negotiate with Annie's quote to clarify your own meaning. Your negotiations expand my own!

I hear you.
And I believe the heart can hold contradictory feelings—such as "contentment" and the desire "to do more."
