You have courage in spades, Myrtle! Maybe you just need help?

For sure but sometimes I just want to say forget it.

oh, I hear ya! For me, the question is, what do I need to do to fulfill my purpose? Then, the how. E.g., my purpose is NOT to win an award or be on any bestseller list or to become a millionaire. So I can dispense with stuff that promises to help me achieve that. I only need to know what I need to know. (Of course, you already know all this!)

Courage is my weak link. My younger self was fearless, but my older self has more vulnerable places (physically and mentally) and thus more trepidation. I have a certain tenacity which can often see me through the fear, but that can take awhile.....

I spent some time with a difficult personality Thursday and Friday and her car was towed from my apartment last night so it was a difficult start to the day. She is on her way back to Austin now.

You are strong. You are courageous. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself what you need. If you are on a precipice, know that you have wings. Bless you.

Thanks Phyllis. I looked up the def for precipice after I wrote that and maybe pivot point would be a better choice. It has been difficult though. The friend keeps texting me with protestations and such. I appreciate your support and compassion so, so much!
