The Saturday Spark
Tell us: What’s one seemingly unreachable thing that you’re reaching out for?
Still time to get involved our 30-day Cento Quest!
Several ways to participate, even if you’d only like to join the Zoom audience in late February to hear the centos other Rafters have composed! Learn more here.
Got yours?
This week’s featured title from my store is Child of All Earth, one of my original solo piano albums (CD $10, before Rafter discount). Album and single tracks are also available from Amazon Music, Apple Music, and other digital music stores.
Sound interesting? Give it a listen, then share with a friend.
Remember to enter your Rafter discount (“rafter25”) at checkout to receive 25% off your order.
Feeling “inbox overwhelm”? Try the Rafter Digest!
ONE email, sent every Saturday, containing links to every major post from that week. Use this button to turn on your subscription (or to change other newsletter preferences). Problems? Email me and I’ll help!
Next week on The Raft . . .
Poetry Pick-Me-Up (Zoom, Thursday, 12-1PM Central). A casual weekly gathering for poetry-sharing and discussion. Hop on the Zoom at this link.
Bring a published poem that has recently struck you to read to the group. Or, just come to listen to poems offered by other Rafters and to participate in informal but wholehearted conversation. Can’t make it? Watch for the video replay in this newsletter!
My serial audio reading of Staying Power 2: Writings from a Year of Emergence will conclude next Friday for all paying subscribers. Upgrade to get this and other modest perks, plus the joy of helping to keep most content on The Raft free for everybody!
Grateful, grateful!
My heartfelt thanks to these folks for their recent gifts in support of The Raft: Amy Adams, Jari Thymian, and maryel.
Whew! That's all for now. Stay well. Stay witty. Stay tuned into your true spot and create from your radiant, beautiful self.
Wow, Phyllis…had no idea you play piano & recorded an album! You are a woman of many talents. Kudos.
Creative ways for my husband and me to reach out, stay close to our only daughter, our son-in-law, and our 3-year-old grandson who live in Sweden, to support each other beyond our lengthy visits twice a year, to stitch our lives together across an ocean and 3,000 miles.
