Blessings upon my brother David and his family near Asheville, North Carolina, and upon everyone else caught in the destructive path of Hurricane Helene. May they have what they need.
Blessings upon all who are suffering in the widening conflict in the Middle East. May the peoples put a quick end to the violence and work hard together to create a just, lasting peace.
Blessings upon my niece, Tiffany, who is a magnificent teacher for her students and a Warrior for her children with special needs. She advocates for her sweet boy who is nonverbal. May the growth and fierce love I see in her sustain her as she leads the way forward for his care!
I lay a Blessing Stone for B.W. May his medical team be adept and caring. May his body find the highest form of healing possible. May his spirit be vigorous and receptive.
Blessings upon my sister Patricia and her family who wotk in Beirut, Lebanon, and live in a small village about 50 miles north of Beirut. May they safely leave for the USA on their flight from Beirut on Oct 10th. May the thousands of displaced people find shelter, food and safety.
May those suffering from the death of loved ones, and harmed by their own physical and mental suffering find a haven of safety and support.
And may I give myself intention and time to feel compassion for others as well as honor my own soul with self-care and love.
Blessings on the Special Education co-ordinator in a nearby county who puts the needs of students first and works for their welfare with an open and caring heart.
Blessings on my sisters and on all who knew my mother Miriam; may we carry her memory kindly and carefully today, the first anniversary of her death, and always.
I lay a blessing stone for all the suffering in multiple places around the world - those we know all too well, and those lesser known places where famine, climate change and war have ruptured people's lives. and I lay a blessing stone for my demented sister, who when moved to memory care, lamented the stone I had given her with the word love on it which she remembered she had. And a blessing stone for those I have inadvertently hurt - I carry you all with me.
Blessing on the natural world of Pisgah, Nantahala and the Smokies. Blessings on the animals, the trees and rivers. Blessings for that natural world to heal in the beautiful way that nature knows how to heal and model for us a path of healing.
I lay a Blessing Stone for Paula L. as she undergoes major surgery and recovery. May she have all that she needs in body, mind, and spirit, and experience all possible healing.
