Donna’s workshop invitation
I believe that we experience what Joseph Campbell calls “the rapture of being alive” when we allow the fullness of joy and sorrow to enter our consciousness. As poets, writing from the true self, going about the business of our daily lives, this is what we draw upon. In our hours together, we will look at exemplary poems and begin new poems of our own. No experience needed. We will begin where we are.
I will send you handouts in advance of the workshop.
Remember, this event will not be recorded.
