I've owned it
I've earned it and blown it
Big into small, I've seen it all
The rise and fall
I've known love
That should've broken my heart up
But sorrow and woe, they come and go
Through rise and fall

There's a rhythm in the motion of this strange life
And I know, like the river and the ocean
My tides rise and fall
It's the same for everyone
Happens to us all
Oh, how we rise and fall

We're balancing with every single turn
Just something that we learn
In the rise and fall

I've grown tired
Of chasing the high life
Gone is the urge to steepen the curve
Of the rise and fall

Feel the rhythm in the motion
Of this strange life
Let it flow like the river to the ocean
My tides rise and fall
It's the same for everyone
Happens to us all
Oh, how we rise and fall
We're balancing with every single turn
Just something that we learn
In the rise and fall

When we fall 
Can we rise? 
Can we open our eyes to the beautiful skies?
