This piece is “Esperanza”—hope. Its gentle rhythms are performed by four musicians who delight in mingling diverse musical sounds and transcending genres.
“With these magicians,” says Google’s translation of the French video description, “2+2 no longer makes 4, but 1. It is indeed a unity of spirit and a fluidity of sound that these individuals invent together, scorning any competition of ego to put themselves in the service of the common musical good. [Their music is] neither jazz nor traditional, neither chamber music nor avant-garde, but a little of all of that at the same time.”
I love how these master musicians create together, introducing me to sounds both new and deep in my blood.

I love accordion music- reminds me of all those practicing in the open air in Europe!
Lovely accompaniment to my breakfast this morning. I love accordion and French cafe music, which this sounded similar to. Fun that the accordion player was barefoot. Thank you!
