Like you, I continue to be deeply concerned about the conflict in Israel-Palestine. I hold fast to the hope for a lasting truce, that it might lead to a lasting and just peace.
The founders of Koolulam, whose work I shared at the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war, has just led an international musical project advocating for the return of the abducted civilians still being held by Hamas. The performance features Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.” A thousand singers, including relatives of the abducted and missing, represented more than 100 locations around the world.
While presenting this, I also wish to advocate for the cessation of all hostilities and for the humane treatment of Palestinians.
(My thanks to Koolulam and everyone involved in this performance and video production. My thanks also to everyone who is striving to bring the hostages home; to tend them in their recovery; to bring an end to the war; and to create a just solution to the Israel-Palestine dilemma. May all suffering end, and soon.)

OMG - this just brought tears to my eyes - sometimes prayer is all we can do - I recently heard a beautiful definition of prayer which seems to fit with this music..."You might turn to prayer, not necessarily because it will change things but because we know it will soften our heart and allow us to be present to all that is without shutting down." that is a reason to pray in this context for sure.
