Where’s your mind right now? Stayed on freedom?

I schedule Daily Boosts weeks in advance. Today I want to add something extra (below) because I suspect we could all use it, given recent events in Israel and Gaza and the surrounding region.
I want to thank Rafter Claire Willis for bringing to my attention this prayer of blessing for everyone—EVERYONE—affected in some way by the violence. It was posted on Facebook on October 8.
A PRAYER FROM KESHER PITTSBURGH Author unknown First and foremost, may those who are mourning be comforted, may those who are scared be sheltered beneath Shekhinah’s* wing, may those who continue to forge the way towards peace be blessed with resilience and resolve. May we have the wisdom to discern which cycles to perpetuate and which cycles to interrupt, and may we build the relationships that make both possible. May those who have the privilege of sleeping safely tonight, even amidst worry, rest deeply enough to dream of a world liberated from violence and fear. May we make room for sadness, anger, confusion, and grief to rise, and may we be tenderized by them. May love flow from our broken hearts, and may their yearning return us to our humanity. May we move at right pace, with care, and together in solidarity with those most impacted. As we begin reading the creation story anew, may we be ever mindful of our roles as co-creators, and may we use our power to create a world that’s more loving, just, and peaceful. * the Divine Presence
(My thanks to Kesher Pittsburgh and the creator/s of this blessing, via Facebook and Rafter Claire Willis.)

Your shares have brought comfort, dear Phyllis. I have shared this prayer with our neighbor who is full of worry…her daughter has been living in Israel since this summer. Thank you 🙏
