Here’s a winter song played on a medieval instrument called a hurdy gurdy. The performance almost makes me wish I could carry my piano out into the snowy woods to play music for the trees.
Have you ever intentionally played music for, or sung to, the natural environment?

Yes I sing to the trees in Old Growth Forest. I sing I THINK THAT I SHALL NEVER SEE A POEM LOVELY AS A TREE by JOYCE KILMER
Wow--beautiful winter forest scene and cool hurdy gurdy music. I've heard the term "hurdy gurdy" before, but I didn't know it was a medieval instrument. I went to the musician's YouTube page and subscribed to it. I want to hear more of her music.
My most vivid memories of making music outdoors is singing around campfires with family and friends, staring into the flames, gazing at the stars above. Primitive. Elemental. Magical.
