Did you know that The Raft has its own chat space?
Imagine it as a homey, round table that’s big enough for everybody. There’s food and drink and flowers and laughter.
We gather around the table to support and inspire one another to live more creatively from our true spots—in other words, to share our joy!
This is your invitation to sit down at the table.
Let’s start by saying “hi.”
I’ve already started our “say hi” thread. This is my post:

To add your hello in the chat, you have several options. Either click “Reply” beneath my post, hop on the thread here, or use this button:Click either “Open in app” or “Join the conversation on the web” (beneath my post).
If you join on the web: you might then need to login to Substack with your email address (if you haven’t already). If you want to join on your phone: first get the app (available for both iOS and Android). Then open the app and tap the chat icon in the bottom bar (it looks like two bubbles). Tap on the appropriate chat thread.
Once on the chat thread, say hi! Tell us briefly who you are, where you’re from, a few of the creative things you like to do and make, and/or maybe who has inspired you lately. If you’d like, attach a fun photo or a link, just for practice. You can also react to other readers' replies.

Our “say hi” chat will prepare us for July’s “Show & Share.”
What’s a “Show & Share”? Think of it as a fun online gallery of creative work or projects-in-progress by you and your fellow Rafters. Anything goes (just be kind): poetry, gardening, quilting, photography, crocheting, cooking, music, journaling, painting, reinventing your life . . .
Each “Show & Share” will run for one month.
Post your original creative work in the chat thread (text, pictures, links).
Comment on the creative efforts of other Rafters.
By posting your own work, you’ll be entered in a random drawing for a free gift from my store at the end of the month. (Each Rafter can win once per year.)
This is a group effort! At least 20 Rafters must post each month in order for the drawing to be held. Let’s create together!
